About Us...

Pencader Charter High School is located in the greater New Castle area with an educational focus on Business & Finance. We are partnered with the University of Delaware's Center for Economic Education, a member of the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce, Delaware Tech Prep., and a National Academy of Finance school, as such we enable students to understand the intricate issues associated with modern economics in a global market. We successfully equip our students with the work ethic and skills sets that employers need to be successful locally, nationally and globally. What sets Pencader Charter apart is that each student will be prepared to enter college or the workplace with a solid understanding of business principles with both theoretical and practical experience.

Chartered in 2005 by the Delaware State Department of Education, Pencader Charter is a public school open to students in Delaware. The core curriculum of subjects is structured such that all graduating students will meet the stringent criteria for each to earn a high school diploma.
