Back-to-School Open House - September 19,
2007
The faculty of Pencader Charter High School would like to meet
you! As the parent or guardian of a student here, it's important to know
that we consider you an integral part of the educational team. We'll need
your cooperation in instructing the child we meet at the beginning of the
year, into his or her more mature future self.
To start opening those lines of communication and
building the educational team necessary to turn children into adults, please
join us for our Back-to-School Open House on September 19, 2007 from 6:00pm
- 7:30pm. During the evening you will follow your child's class schedule,
enabling you to meet most if not all of his/her educational influences here
at Pencader.
The structure of this evening is intended to begin the process of developing
the team and opening the lines of communication and feedback required to
make each other's tasks less difficult.
Thank you for your continued interest in the success of your child's
educational career!
The PTO has been asked to coordinate parent volunteers to assist during
lunch. PCHS is in need of 2 parents each school day to help monitor the
cafeteria and the riverside cafe area during the lunch periods. Hours would
be Monday thru Friday from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Jean Buzzard has graciously
agreed to coordinate the schedule, please email Jean directly at

The ABC
Affiliate in Philadelphia, PA (www.6ABC.com)
will have a feature story about our new Chinese Language Program.
CNN
Anchor Ralph Begleitner will will be addressing the 11ith Grade English
class this fall (date is yet to be determined!).
Mr. Begleitner who covered the globe for CNN is now a professor at the
University of Delaware. He will be addressing accuracy in media, fair
coverage and other media related topics.
