Code of Conduct...

The Code of Conduct has been reviewed and approved for the 2008-08 School Year. The updated document is available online here or by PDF download.

Commitment...

Families must sign a 1 year commitment to keep their child enrolled in Pencader Charter.

Eligibility...

Any student entering 9th or 10th grade is eligible to apply. For students coming from the traditional system a copy of last years report card and DSTP score are required. For students coming from a non traditional school ie: parochial or private or a home school report cards are required as are tests such as the Terranova. Transportation...

Bus transportation is free, however it will be provided in a hub or zoned manner; which will be determined in the Spring/early Summer of 2006. Parents must arrange transportation home for after school events.

School Day...

A stringent Curriculum is planned and will be presented in a 7-period schedule. All students will be required to earn 24 credits to graduate, including 1/2 credit of mandatory community service.

Meals...

Lunch will be provided by Shop-Rite Catering for a nominal fee (to be determined). Students may bring their own lunch as well.

Students eligible for free and reduced lunch will be accommodated. Additionally, a suitable selection of reasonably priced beverages will be available.

Costs...

There is no tuition for attending as this is a public high school.  However, students must pay for their own clothes in order to be compliant with the dress code.  In addition, there may be a athletic participation fee and fees may be charged for labs, special books, and unspecified items.

Clubs & Extracurricular Activities...

Student clubs & activities will be determined by interest expressed by the student body.

Parent Teacher Organization...

All parents will be invited to join the Pencader PTO.
