The Code of Conduct has been reviewed and approved for the 2008-08 School Year. The updated document is available online here or by PDF download.
Any student entering 9th or 10th grade is eligible to apply. For students coming from the traditional system a copy of last years report card and DSTP score are required. For students coming from a non traditional school ie: parochial or private or a home school report cards are required as are tests such as the Terranova. A stringent Curriculum is planned and will be presented in a 7-period schedule. All students will be required to earn 24 credits to graduate, including 1/2 credit of mandatory community service.
Lunch will be provided by Shop-Rite Catering for a nominal fee (to be determined). Students may bring their own lunch as well.
Students eligible for free and reduced lunch will be accommodated. Additionally, a suitable selection of reasonably priced beverages will be available.
There is no tuition for attending as this is a public high school. However, students must pay for their own clothes in order to be compliant with the dress code. In addition, there may be a athletic participation fee and fees may be charged for labs, special books, and unspecified items.
Student clubs & activities will be determined by interest expressed by the student body.
All parents will be invited to join the Pencader PTO.
